Our Walking Baby Boy!

Well Jacob has decided that he would rather walk than crawl now. He is so cute, and waddles and toddles across every room and down all the hallways...I guess that is why they call it the toddler stage. He usually only crawls now when he is in a big hurry to get somewhere, like when we tell him no or he wants to get into something that he knows that he shouldn't. He also loves his shoes. He will come up to us with his shoes and sit himself down on our laps and hand us his shoe so that we will put it on him. Of course, we are biased and so very proud of our boy, but he is just so darn smart. At one, he has already demonstrated that he is a problem solver, has a strong personality and will work for what he wants and is not shy to speak his mind and tell you that he doesn't want something (but hey, if you know his parents...a fiesty red head for a mother, and a law student for a father, this doesn't surprise you). I think that is why he started to walk at 1 years old, he wanted to have a say in where he was going.

These bottom videos demonstrate how much he loves his shoes. In the last video Tami is trying to get Jacob to go to her but he has his shoe in his hand and walks over by the door and sits down to try and put it on. We are just hoping that it takes a little while before he starts to run...it is already tiring chasing him around!

I can't believe how big he's getting! Braylee is starting to stand all by herself now. I'm not ready for her to walk yet!
