Day One: Jenni's Visit

This last weekend my sister Jenni came out for a visit. We had so much fun. She flew out Thursday night so Jacob and I went to pick her up because Andrew had class. We just came home and showed her the house. We hung out here for a while and then went to pick Andrew up. On the way to pick him up we stopped to pick up a pizza. I had this free pizza coupon that I wanted to use...little did we know it was a full out bar that we were picking it up from. Good thing I was the only one to go in a get it. We ate pizza as Andrew drove us down town to see the city lights. It was late so we only looked from the freeway...but it is a nice view of the lights from there. The next morning we got up and got ready and went to the "gateway" mall of the denver area...stapleton. It is a nice place. I had another coupon for a $15.00 gift card to a place to eat so we went to pick it up. They didnt' have the one I wanted so we deciede to go for fish and make it a fish day (we were going to the aquarium later). We went in and it seemed really nice. We ordered and had Jenni taste shrimp for the first time. She said she liked it but she is too sweet to say otherwise...I just hope she really didn't mind it. After we put in our order we waited, and waited, and just kept waiting for our food. It took like 30 mins or more and it wasn't really busy. But let me tell you I didn't think it was worth the wait. I really didn't like it at all and all I got was the salad. I felt bad for Jenni, she ordered the fish and chips and it seemed like everything was burnt. I don't think she liked what she got too much either. Andrew loved it. He really likes fish and what he ordered didn't seem too bad. So after all of the waiting and not liking it we had to wait for the check!!! Here are a couple of pictures of us waiting.

So after all the waiting we walked back to the car....

We were finally on our way to the aquarium. Jacob is usually shy at first where ever we go but after he realized that we were looking at fun stuff he wanted to run all over and see what it was. In the second of the three pictures there is a massive fish in the backround that we were looking at. I love the last picture, it is one of my favorites!!

In the next two pictures there was an orangatan that Jacob loved to look at. He kept wanting us to take him back to look at it. It was kinda dark so you can't see it very well in the pictures.

Next we came upon the tiger cage. They have 4 tigers but only two were out when we got there. We had perfect timing. One of the tigers was walking around right in front of us before it came to a stop on a big rock. We took a ton of pictures but I am only posting a few.

After the tigers Jacob was really having fun. The video is kinda dark but it is Jacob running back and forth from one side to the other looking at the fish.
