I can't believe my baby is three years old!! We have been in Denver for all of his birthdays so we decided to fly out to Utah so we could have a party with his cousins (birthday blog to come). It was so fun to see everyone. The first few days in Utah we spent in American Fork with my family. After that we spent one night at Andrew's parents' house and then we went camping up at the Jordanelle State Park. It is such a great location. Not too far but far enough to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and enjoy all the stars in the sky. We saw a lot of shooting stars that night.
The Friday night before the party we went camping with Andrew's brother and his family. It was a blast!!! Jacob loved it!! It was a great night, we had tin foil dinners, smores, good snacks, and good company!! The kids were following each other around the table singing "Follow the Prophet," it was the cutest thing ever. I was worried about how Jacob would do in the tent all night but he slept better than he does most nights (I think he loved that we were sleeping next to him all night long).
It was such a beautiful night. We went for a walk down by the lake and enjoyed just being up in the mountains with family. Our first camping trip as a family was a success!
