So Andrew and I have never really been into Halloween but it is much funner with a two year old. Jacob seems to follow in our footsteps, well, when it comes to dressing up anyways. We got him a cute little tiger costume and have had to bribe him to put it on. We started early to make sure that he would wear it on Halloween night. One thing that he loves about Halloween are the pumpkins. We had a blast carving a pumpkin with him. He had to be right in the middle of it.
Jacob was so cute because he didn't want to put his hands in the pumpkin and touch the gooey guts. He doesn't like to get his hands dirty and if he does he runs right over to the sink to wash them. You see the disgusted look on his face as Andrew was cleaning the pumpkin out.
It was so fun to watch his reaction and we all took turns turning our pumpkin into a jack-O-lantern. Once the guts were out of the pumpkin and into a bowl, Jacob loved stirring them around with a spoon.
One of the things that Andrew and I do like about Halloween are the carmel/candied apples. We love those. Every Halloween we go and get apples from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. We decided to get a head start and make our own. They were YUMMY!!!
Jacob was so proud of his pumpkin and loved to blow out the candle but once he got that sucker he wanted little to with anything else.
