Utah Trip (part 2) Fun at Grammie and Grandpies

Okay, so this is probably my longest blog to date. I just had so much fun reminiscing and looking at pictures that I went into a lot of detail and posted a ton of picutes. So I hope you sit back and enjoy the story. Saturday we went to lunch with Jenny. Andrew's parents met up with us,as well, so we could spend some time with them before we flew back to Colorado. We hung out with Jenni a little bit before we met up with Andrew's parents for lunch. It was so fun to hang out with Jenni, just the four of us!! We really miss you Jenni!!! On our way to Tooele we stopped by Grampie's (Andrew's dad) work so we could show Jacob the BIG machines that Grampie drives. Jacob loved it!!! Andrew always points out the heavy machinery to Jacob. Now Jacob loves them and always yells "machines" whenever he sees one. It was so much fun to see Jacob's eyes light up with excitement when he got to get close to the HUGE dozer. Jacob loved it so much!! Thanks Grampie for taking us up to see them.







It was so great to just hang out with Andrew's parents. They just love Jacob so much and love to play with him!!! Jacob loved that they had a panio. He would sit there all day singing and playing!!! It was so cute!



Sunday Jacob "slept in" til 7:45 which was great. We got up and had breakfast with Grammie and Grampie then we headed into SLC because, me being the forgetful one, I forgot a ton of stuff at my parent's house. So we met up with my mom and Jenni to get the stuff. It was great!!


That night we went over to Andrew's brother's house to see his family and have dinner. It was so much fun for us to see them. Jacob loved playing with his cousins. He jumped on the tramp, sat at the kids table at dinner, and followed his cousins around like they play together every day. It is so much fun for Jacob to have cousins that love to play and have fun with him. It was so great to catch up with Brandon and Char. We wish we lived closer so we could hang out with the family more often.









Good-byes are always super hard so Sunday night we let Jacob stay up to have a litte more time with Grampie. It was cute to see them together!!! Jacob always has so much fun at their house. He always asks for them for a few days after seeing them. It was a sad day Monday when we had to leave.

Our flight home was on one of the smaller planes so we had to climb out of the plane on the tarmac so I snapped a few pictures of Andrew and Jacob by the plane. I couldn't get Jacob to look at me at all. He loves planes and only wanted to look at it. It was a great trip to Utah!!! We can't wait to see you again!!!
