A Fun Weekend With Grammie and Grampie

So as you could gather from my last post my in-laws were able to make it out for this past weekend. We are so glad they were able to make it out. They weren't even here for 10 minutes when Jacob grabbed Grammie by the hand and took her out to his pool in the backyard. He jumped in with all his clothes on, pulling Grammie in with him. After Jacob and Grammie had fun in the pool we went to the BBQ and the baseball game that I blogged about in the last blog. Saturday we had our own BBQ and a birthday party for Jacob. His 2nd birthday isn't until the 17th of next month but we decided to celebrate it early while Grammie and Grampie were in town. Jacob has seen a lot of litte kids outside on their bikes and tricycles and he as been begging for a bike. So Andrew and I have told him we would get him a bike for his birthday. He has been going around for the last little while and saying "momma, bike birthday party." As always, Grammie and Grampie were so sweet to totally spoil our little Jacob. Happy early 2nd Birthday Jacob!!! We are also planning on having a party on his actual birthday with some of his little friends. That will be so fun.



Jacob had to sit on his tricycle to open up the rest of his presents. He wouldn't get off of it the rest of the day.



I was able to find this adorable cake. Jacob loves Winnie the Pooh and this was the perfect cake!

Weekends with Grammie and Grampie always go way too fast. Unfortunately, they had to leave Sunday afternoon. We can't wait to see them again. Thanks for coming out Grammie and Grampie!!!

I don't think he is talking about his little tricycle . . . he has a little car that he rides around and he may have seen it or something. I don't know though. He runs around calling it is birthday bike, it is so cute!
