Happy 4th of July!!!

It is such a blessing to live in the greatest nation in the world. I love America. I hope you all had a great 4th of July weekend. I thought I would put up some pictures of our weekend. We went hiking with a group of friends (but I forgot my camera) and then we all had a BBQ. The next day we invited some of Jacob's little friends to come over and play in his little pool in the backyard. They all had a blast and were so fun to watch.

The ban on all fireworks didn't stop some neighbors from shooting off fireworks. It wasn't so weird to Andrew (since his city in CA didn't allow fireworks when he was a kid), but for me it was so weird to not be allowed to shoot off fireworks for the 4th of July. However, the City of Denver had about 5 fireworks displays and one that we could just barely see from our house. Jacob still isn't a fan of fireworks but he had a great weekend playing with his friends in his pool. As you can see from this video, there was nothing getting this little water boy out of his pool . . . not even food!!!
